Election Dates
Below you will find the important dates for the upcoming election cycle.
This is a critical time for America. This will be our chance to put the brakes on the out of control spending by congress. This will be our chance to tell President Obama we do not want government meddling in health care, education, energy, etc. We don’t want more big government, we want less. And most of all we want the government to spend within our means.
In February, the petition drive will start. We need to find 3 to 5 thousand registered republicans within the 14th Congressional District willing to sign the nominating petition to start down the road of real change. Mr. Obama’s "change" has given us massive debt, less personal freedom and our Constitution being relegated to secondary status behind the UN charter.
During the petition drive I’ll need your help getting those signatures. Ask your friends and neighbors to go to the website, www.NolanforCongress.com . Ask them to join one of the face book groups - Joe Nolan for Congress or Democrats for Nolan. If you belong to a civic group that allows political figures to speak, let me know so I can schedule an event. If you have a topic you think I should address let me know. Unfortunately, with this congress and administration the supply of topics is endless.
The upcoming months will be important. With your help, support and prayers, I know America can be the land of great opportunity and freedom.

Tuesday, February 16th - First day to circulate and file nomination petitions
Tuesday, March 9th - Last day to circulate and file nomination petitions
Wednesday, March 24th - Last day to withdrawal by candidates who filed nomination petitions
Monday, April 19th - Last day to REGISTER to vote before Primary -
Tuesday, May 11th - Last day to apply for a civilian absentee ballot -
Friday, May 14th - Last day for County Board of Elections to receive voted civilian absentee ballots -
Tuesday, May 18th - PRIMARY ELECTION -
